In addition, a sculpture was in it's second stages, curtains were worked on some more, matting for photos was attempted, another hat was in process of becoming, paper letters were cut out for creating quotes from, shorts were patched, and various thoughts on various other projects were mulled.

The next play time is scheduled for Thursday, August 13th.

Parallel Play, Scene 2

Last week's play date was a nice intimate gathering in the newly coming-together basement space. Open collaboration and idea sharing went well around the big group table.
Lest we forget: a collage was started, a book was bound, a hat was knitted, curtains were thought out, an old-photo-diarama art piece was begun, and a just-out-of-the-box camera was fiddled with.
I can't wait to see these projects in their finished states.

More making and doing to take place this Thursday, July 23rd from 8pm-10pmish at the same location. (SE Kelly and SE 36th, Portland.)
